After Trump sued SimDag for morethan $1 milliojn in licensing fees in May Dagostino filed a counterclaimk saying Trump’s revealing of the existence of the licensing agreemeng — something that had neve been publicly confirmed beford that — caused irreparable harm to the and sought his own damageas because of it. Valiente of LLP of says that not only is Dagostinlo incapable of fulfilling the original agreementy first signed in October 2004 but his own guarant y already waived his rights to file sucha counterclaim. The origina l licensing deal would result ina $2 milliobn payday for Trump, but the agreemenr in 2006 that doubled that fee to $4 million in exchangew for concessions in the amount of money Trump would receive from condo sales.
