The company will start the moving process in the middle of May and will have moved all of its employees by the time the leasre on its Mercer Island building endsin October. He said he did not know how many peopl would be moved or what the cost savings woul be tothe company. In a separated announcement, Coldwell Banker said it will focus on marketing new an effort that will be incorporated into a new division create d bythe company.
While the division will market new constructio that has lingered on the market as a resultt ofthe recession, Sparks said it’sa also a step to prepare for new homes that will be builtr when the housing market recovers. “Ir will be a largely ignored segment and we want to be in a positionn to take advantageof that,” he said.
